Cap a high-posting account without muting them

One of your follows posts sixty times a day and half your timeline is just them. You don't want to mute or unfollow — you like them — you just want less. Bluesky has no native "show me at most N posts from this person" setting. Here's the workaround.

Native options (and why they fall short)

You can turn off reposts from a single account (three dots next to Follow → turn off reposts), which helps if the flood is reposts. But for original posts it's all-or-nothing: mute or nothing.

Per-account volume cap (free, in a clean following feed)

Build a "clean following" feed and set Cap any one account to N posts. Your feed still includes that person — but only their most recent N posts in the window, so they can't dominate it. Nobody else's Bluesky tool does per-account volume capping; native mute, Skyfeed and Attie are all all-or-nothing. It's free, no login, read-only.
